  1. Serif/Roman Fonts/Slab Serif

    • Traditional and Timeless
    • Do not use for modern things
    • Ex: Weddings, Lawyers, Serious Stuff
  2. Sans Serif

    • Modern Feel
    • Removed Decoration present in Roman
    • Variable Sizing Weights Help a lot
    • Easy to read, thus use for public facing utils
    • Key word for searches - modern sans serif/geometric/rounded
  3. Display TypeFace

    • FOR LOGOS!
    • Designed for Uniqueness
    • For Small Chunks of text to stand out
  4. Script TypeFace

    • Refined, Subtle and Elegance (for a logo):
    • Romantic, Restaurant
    • Quite eclectic
  5. Handwritten TypeFace

    • Silliness/Playful
    • Designer writes out the font in their handwriting
