Over the course of my schooling, mainly from 8th - 12th grade I attended many extra-curricular events such as quizzes, culturals, debate and MUNs.
Chennai being the intellectual city it is and being from a "decent" CBSE school, I faced off against some pretty component folks.
I liked attending events, they made me feel special, just wish I had also kept up with my grades through 11th and 12th, but ah well, you win some, you lose some.
If nothing, culturals made me a better speaker.
I really liked attending culturals

Oh, I could bore you with the truth
About an overprivileged youth
Or flex about some trophies on my shelf
I could list each small occasion
Of event wins and school ovations
But I'm too caught up cringing at myself
